ALBANY, N.Y., Oct. 19, 2005 — Melinda Clark-Gambelunghe, M.D. and Anna Grattan Flik, M.D., have joined the staff of the Albany Medical Center Pediatric Group.
Dr. Clark-Gambelunghe recently completed her pediatric residency at Albany Medical Center. She received her medical degree from Albany Medical College and her BS degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She has also received additional training in the treatment of child sexual abuse. She has special interest in dental care for children, water floridation and adolescent pregnancy prevention.
Dr. Grattan Flik completed her residency and internship at New York Presbyterian Hospital. She received her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine and her BA degree from Middlebury College in Vermont. Before joining the Albany Med staff, she served as an assistant attending physician and instructor in pediatrics at New York Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Grattan Flik has special interest in adolescent medicine, breastfeeding and child development.
The Albany Medical Center Pediatric Group is located at One Clara Barton Drive, just blocks from the hospital’s main complex. The group offers extended night and weekend hours as well as free parking directly in front of the building. Currently, the general pediatrics staff see more than 16,500 children per year for well-child care as well as specialized services. Drs. Clark-Gambelunghe and Grattan Flik are accepting new patients.
