University Heights hires Public Safety, Grounds Maintenance Staff

ALBANY, N.Y. – University Heights Association Inc. announced that the following officers have been hired in the Office of Public Safety, which provides security services on the campuses of Albany College of Pharmacy, Albany Law School and Sage College of Albany:

Full-time officers:

·        John Clancy

·        Chris DiNovo

·        Anne Giglio

·        Tony Miorin

·        Steve Silver

·        Chris Wise

 

Part-time officers:

 

·        James German

·        Dan Grebert

·        Frank McLaren

·        Karen Nabozny

 

In addition, Renee Chadwick, who worked for UHA part-time as a public safety officer, has become a full-time officer. Ricki Bernard, previously administrative assistant to the director of public safety, has changed positions to a dispatcher.

 

The UHA Office of Public Safety currently has 31 full- and part-time employees patrolling the campuses of three of its four member institutions. The fourth member, Albany Medical Center, has its own security force.

 

Meanwhile, UHA also announced that David Rudd has been hired as a grounds maintenance worker.

 

University Heights Association was established in 1995 to create an academic/medical consortium of international stature in the Capital Region. The four member institutions – Albany College of Pharmacy, Albany Law School, Albany Medical Center and The Sage Colleges – are a unique collaboration promoting quality education, premium health care, public discourse of important issues, cutting-edge research and technology, vibrant neighborhoods, and progressive private and public partnerships. UHA, in partnership with the four member institutions, continues to build upon a network of shared resources to enrich academic connections for the benefit of students, faculty, staff and the surrounding neighborhoods.
