ALBANY, N.Y., January 6, 2005 – A free seminar on the latest light-based treatments for skin conditions will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20 at The Center for Facial Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Skin Care at University Ear Nose and Throat of Northeastern New York, 35 Hackett Blvd., Albany.
Arthur Falk, M.D., assistant professor of surgery at Albany Medical College and medical director of the Center for Facial Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Skin Care, will present “The Miracle of Light,” an exploration of the latest in light-based technologies for the treatment of sun damage, age spots, vascular blemishes, facial scarring and hair removal.
The Center for Facial Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Skin Care provides comprehensive facial aesthetic and reconstructive services for adults and children. Some of the reconstructive procedures include facial trauma, skin cancer, facial scars and management of congenital craniofacial malformations such as cleft lip, cleft palate and ear deformities.
