Ann Wendth was recently names chair of the Albany Medical Center Foundation Board of Directors, succeeding James B. Howe, who served in that role for the past two years.
Wendth is senior vice president of the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce. In addition to the Albany Medical Center Foundation, Wendth serves on the advisory board of the Bethlehem Area YMCA, the school of business advisory board at Siena College, and the dean’s advisory council at the College of Saint Rose. She resides in Slingerlands.
Other recent Albany Med Foundation Board Appointments include Jeff Sperry, managing partner of CB Richard Ellis-Albany, who was elected vice chair, and Thea Snyder, president and chief executive officer of Nitoc, LLC, who was elected Board Secretary. In addition, five area business leaders were appointed to serve initial three-year terms. They are M. Christian Bender, executive director of the Brighter Choice Foundation; Scott Averill, chief marketing officer of MVP Healthcare; John O’Donnell, chief executive officer of Albany International Airport; Christopher Madden, president of Callanan Industries; and Mario Papa, a partner of Hodgson Russ, LLP.
