SmartStart Venture Forum: Call for Business Plans

ALBANY, N.Y. – Albany Law School's Science and Technology Law Center and Empire State Venture Group, Inc. aresoliciting applications from early-stage and growing companies who would like to present their business plans to potential investors at the fourth annual SmartStart Venture Forum. Past presenters have received more than $25 million in funding.
Applications will be accepted March 1, 2004 through June 4, 2004. A non-refundable $100 fee is required. If selected to present, an additional $450 is required. Visit www.smartstartvf.com or call 518-445-2303 for additional information.
The fourth annual SmartStart Venture Forum, uniting emerging technology companies from across New York with investors and professional service providers from across the Northeast, will be held at the Albany Marriott Hotel, October 6 - 7, 2004. In addition to presentations from early-stage companies, the event features networking opportunities and an investor roundtable. Attendees include entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, angel investors, commercial and investment bankers, private lenders, pension fund managers, business brokers, analysts, attorneys, accountants, media, and other service providers.
